ヤフー・オークションにて入手の１冊。あまり表紙絵が上手ではないことで知られる角川文庫版だが、訳文は意外としっかりしている。小笠原さんは腕は確かなようだ。固有名詞や章題が微妙に異なるが、これなどはせめてもの抵抗だろう。表紙・口絵挿し絵といった形態から、作品の選択、邦題の付け方まで(!)創元推理文庫を意識したに違いないのだから。
